Aston Martin DB6 MK2 Vantage available at McGurk Performance Cars

In our showroom are currently two of the rarest Classic Aston Martins for sale.

Firstly, our ‘Unique’ Aston Martin DB5. This very early example was built in 1963, destined for New York, U.S.A. It is a unique car as it has the early four-speed gearbox, and it was finished in California Sage Green. It is the only car to have that specification.

This car has a great story, where it has travelled from New York to Paris and then to the UK. You can read all about it here:https://mcgurk.com/aston-martin-for-sale/1963-aston-martin-db5-lhd-for-sale/

Secondly, there is our 1970 Aston Martin DB6 MK2 Vantage.

Only 62 examples were ever made of the DB6 MK2 from 1969 to 1970. The MK2 is easily defined by its flared wheel arches. Power Steering became a standard feature along with a lighter clutch pedal. The interior design is also different, most notably in the rear, with the seats having a more snug fit.

This matching numbers example started life in Bahama Yellow, although the interior you see today is correct and original from new and has been kept perfectly. The history file is substantial and notes significant restoration works in 2007 when the colour was changed to Cumberland Grey you see today.

Most recently, the DB6 has spent many years in storage. We purchased the car recently and, having spent time in our workshops, she is now back on the road where she belongs.

This is a perfect driver’s car. Her condition is to be cherished and enjoyed. Take a look at our website for more information about our classic Aston Martins we have for sale.
